Hey hey hey! It's a new month, the month of love and I'm here to hook you up with an amazing recipe for your significant other, family, friends and that boy/girl you've had your eye on.(PS:SHOOT THAT SHOT🤗)I made this recipe during Christmas and my family loved it.I'm not really a huge fan of stewed chicken but yoooh, this right here is it.
I enjoy my chicken fried with lots of onions, ginger and garlic but this recipe is a close second. This dish has a classic blend of a handful of spices and a very rich and creamy sauce. It's also a 30 minute recipe which means you can make it on a weekday, after school or work.It freezes perfectly well so you can make this and freeze the leftovers for later. The dish calls for chicken curry powder and the spice level can be adjusted. My heat tolerance is high,so most of my meals call for alot of chilli.
1/2 chicken
2 diced tomatoes
1 Tbs tomato paste
2 large onions diced
6 cloves of garlic minced
1 Tbs ginger minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 cup chicken/beef broth
1 tsp coriander powder/fresh coriander
1 tsp cumin powder
2 Tbs chicken curry powder
salt to taste
HOW TO:
In a pan,add the chicken and let it cook, season with abit of the salt and pepper.
Add in the ginger and garlic paste and let cook for another minute.
Transfer the chicken into a bowl and into the same pan,add the onions and fry till transluscent.
Add in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste and broth to form a thick paste.
Add in the seasonings and chicken and let cook for a further 4 minutes on low heat.
Serve hot over rice, naan, chapati or ugali.
Cant wait to try this out😊
